I’m a 17-year-old straight A+ student in New York City, who is passionate about sports with the goal of attending a top-tier university before pursuing a career in the sports industry.
Three years ago, I co-founded The Leiderboard, a sports media blog, with my 2 brothers. The Leiderboard is a play on my last name Leiderman. I write blogs about the NFL, NBA, College Football and College Basketball. My writing ranges from mock drafts to weekly game predictions.
I’m an intern for LFG Sports and its subsidiary Boston Sports Trips, where I help the CEO develop content about Boston sports, and plan trips to watch Boston sports teams play on the road.
In addition, I’m the sports editor of my high school newspaper, The Pawprint. I was elected as our Student Government Treasurer, serve as a leader in Model UN and a member of the varsity baseball team.
I love volunteering and giving back to my community. Since 9th grade, I have been a volunteer basketball coach for inner city children with Yorkville Youth Athletic Association and serve as volunteer “buddy” with the Greenwich Village Little League Challenger Division, which gives boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges the opportunity to enjoy and play baseball.
